6/ We will continue working with the domain registrar to reclaim control of terra(dot)money domains and publish an announcement once they have been secured.

5/ Fortunately, to our knowledge, no users fell prey to the attacker’s phishing scams before the domains were frozen.

4/ This included contacting the domain registrar to freeze the domains, updating the Station web app and browser extensions to prevent phishing attempts, and alerting users and ecosystem partners to avoid interacting with terra(dot)money domains, among other security measures.

2/ On Aug. 18th, we discovered that a malicious actor had compromised terra(dot)money domains in an attempt to scam Terra users via phishing tactics. The attacker bypassed two-factor authentication using a SIM swap attack.

3/ The moment we detected the domain compromise, we took several actions to safeguard the Terra community and protect user funds.
